The baseball camp scheduled for this weekend at Marysburg Field has been postponed due to the snowfall and inclement weather.

Day 1 of the camp was slated for this Saturday, May 4. The camp for Rally Cap and years one and two 11U players will move to Monday, May 20 on the long weekend. The camp will begin at 9:00 am and end around 3:30 pm.

“We’re simply asking for those who were registered and who are still interested in coming on Monday 20 to register once again,” says camp organizer Curtis Strueby

The second day of the camp will still be a go on the scheduled date of Saturday, May 11. That day is geared for third year 11U players and all 13U players. There is still room to register in the May 11 camp.

It’s the 15th year for the camp hosted by the Marysburg Royals senior ball team. The camps have always been well attended and supervised by some of the province’s best players.

“Almost our whole team will be out,” says Strueby. “We’ll have a lot of help, and that’s what makes the camp a success every year is all the guys coming out. We can’t thank them enough.”
