Federal Transport Minister Marc Garneau meets with farmers Thursday in Saskatoon to discuss rail transportation of grain.

Many farmers are frustrated, accusing Ottawa of not listening to their concerns that there could be a rail bottleneck this year because of an anticipated bumper crop.

The Canadian Federation of Agriculture is urging Garneau to make sure railways don't abuse their role and to maintain limits on how much profit they can make from grain transportation.

The federation says it wants Garneau to consider the input of farmers as he reviews the report that calls for overhauling the Canada Transportation Act.
