Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart has launched an online survey of farmers to determine priority areas for the next farm policy framework.

The current federal-provincial program is set to expire at the end of March 2018.

Stewart wants to ensure Saskatchewan farm interests are represented and he says the survey will focus on six priority areas.

Those include market and trade, science and research, risk management, environmental sustainability and climate change, value-added agriculture and food processing and public trust.

Farmers will be asked to rank program activities within those areas.
