Heavy Rain and snow has shown a stoppage in the harvest operations across Saskatchewan.

81 percent of the provincial crop is in the bin, with 15 percent ready to be swathed or straight cut.

In East-Central Saskatchewan, 79 percent of the crop is in the bin, with the five year average hovering around 89 percent.

83 percent of spring wheat, 81 percent of durum, 89 percent of barley, 75 percent of canola, and 39 percent of flax has been combined.

Sunny weather will be needed for the next few weeks for farmers to return to the field.
