Tuesday, June 14, saw the 15U AAA East Central Dodgers take the win away 5-4 from the 15U AAA Sask5 Giants. The Dodgers trailed 4-3 in the top of the fifth inning when Cade Armstrong homered on the first pitch, scoring two runs. 

The Giants lost the game, despite out-hitting the Dodgers five to four. 

The Giants tallied three runs in the fourth inning. The Giants' offence was led by Willis Simair, Reece Johnson, and Blake Braaten, all driving in runs in the frame.

Dayne Schommer got the start for the Dodgers, playing three and third innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking three out. 

Axel Flodell started for the Giants, playing five innings, allowing five runs on four hits, striking out eight and walking zero. Ben Hosegood threw two innings.

Rhett Anderson went two for two at the plate to lead the Giants in hits, with Armstrong leading the Dodgers with two hits in three at the bat. 

The Dodgers next game will take place against the AAA WhiteSox at Munster on Friday, June 24, at 4:30 pm and at 6:30 pm.
