The Saskatoon Blue Jays got off to an early lead, and that carried them to a 6-2 victory over the Muenster Red Sox in SPBL action on Tuesday night.
The damage for Muenster began in the opening inning when the Jays scored a pair on a wild pitch. Two of the three Jays hits came in the third with a Brock Liebel single and Noah Salzsauler tagging a triple to score another pair of runs.
Lynden Loessl of the Red Sox went 2 for 2 at the plate driving in the sole pair of runs for the Muenster squad in the bottom of the fourth.
Next action for the Muenster Red Sox is tonight as they face the Saskatoon A’s.
