The Humboldt Music Festival is now up and running with 197 registrants participating in the piano portion of the festival throughout the week.

The Piano festival runs from March 13 - 15 at Westminster United Church. Afterward, the vocal/musical theatre section takes place on March 16, and March 20 - 21, at St. Augustine School, is the band and instrument part of the festival.

The final concert takes place on Friday, March 31, at Westminster United Church.

Anyone can attend, says April Pauli, Festival Coordinator.

“There is a $5 per session charge at the door, or a $10 day pass or $25 season pass, but it is open to the public for everyone to come and watch our performers.”

Performers range from ages 6 - 18 years of age with a wide variety of skills.

“We are happy to have our full festival back and be able to have it open to the public so that the youth in our area get some experience being able to perform in front of an audience.”
