Burgers to Beat MS is back at A&W restaurants including Humboldt’s Highway 5 location. On Thursday, August 17, a portion of the proceeds from A&W Burger sales goes to MS Society of Canada to support research.

“Two dollars from every Teenburger and any other money that’s donated goes to help Canadians living with MS and to hopefully find a cure,” explains A&W Humboldt manager Colleen Cornelius. The day comes complete with the annual parking lot show and shine. Perennial Humboldt favourite JJ Voss returns with his incredible brand of original country and roots music.

There will be activities for the kids and a visit from the A&W Root Bear along with 107.5 Live on Location. A&W has been gathering a cache of prizes, generously donated by local businesses, for supporters to win. You can pick up tickets from the restaurant staff starting today at a cost of $5 each or three for $10. The tickets get you into the draws on August 17 for all the wonderful prizes. Colleen gives a sampling of just a few of the many prizes.

“We have a pressure washer donated by Farm World, we have a Traeger Tailgater barbecue, we have a battery powered chain saw, a generator, designer Michael Kors purses, and watches.”

It’s a virtual carnival with all the music, entertainment, show cars, and of course, delicious Teenburgers, all to support a great cause. Come on out on Thursday, August 17 and bring your friends and family to Burgers to Beat MS at A&W.
