The East Central AAA 18U Red Sox had a successful outing last night downing the Saskatoon Giants 6-2.

The Giants took an early lead, but a Dallen Rude RBI locked the score in the top of the third.

Jaxson Fox’s sacrifice fly put the Giants up again, but Cade Britz singled to bring the Red Sox level again.

The Red Sox went to work in the top of the sixth putting the game away on a Kacen Hyra two-run double, a Cade Armstong RBI, and a double by Dallen Rude.

Carter Dosch got it under way on the mound for the Red Sox, relieved by Marek Yeager who pitched three no-run innings.

On Saturday, the Red Sox head to the sunny southeast for a pair against the twins.
