Canadian Western Agribition's Chief Executive Officer says they commissioned Praxis Consulting Ltd to conduct an economic impact study following the 2022 show.

Shaun Kindopp says that the study found CWA makes a significant contribution to the provincial economy and the city of  Regina.

"It showed that Agribition contributed $96.5 million in provincial economic impact, which is 31 per cent up from 2017. So it's a huge number and it's something we're so proud of."

In addition to the overall economic impact, the study highlights include $979,000 in trade show booth sales and livestock sales totaling $2.2 million.

He says their proud to have such a positive impact on our province and city and look forward to continued growth in the future." 

Kindopp says Agribition is a place where business gets done, with people coming from around the world to take part.

He notes for the 2023 show they are getting more invested in helping producers with more of the animal ag tech angle.
