The Broncos failed to build on their first win of the season Tuesday falling 6-2 at the hands of the Battlefords North Stars at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Humboldt managed to out-shoot their Finning Division rivals 26-24 but that definitely did not transfer over to the scoreboard.

The Broncos got goals from Connor Swystun(pictured above) and Colin Woods but at no point did they lead the hockey game. They trailed 2-0 and 4-1 at the breaks.

Brett Friesen took the loss in net allowing all six goals on 24 shots.

The green and gold will look to right the ship Friday in Flin Flon versus the Bombers. That game can be heard on your radio beginning with the pre-game show of KMK Sales Broncos' hockey at 6:15 Saskatchewan time. Puck drop is at 6:30.

Saturday they are in LaRonge to meet the Ice Wolves, face-off in that contest is 7 o'clock.
