Ben Lohmann, 90 yrs, of Middle Lake Sk, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024 surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. Ben remained jovial and kept his sharp wit right up to the end.

Ben was born on June 2, 1933, the 5th of 6 children to Anna and Henry Lohmann. He grew up in the Willmont area near Fulda Sk. He loved playing the bass in olde tyme music bands and going to dances. Most weekends were spent camping, fishing, traveling to see family, and playing many games of Kaiser. In Retirement he moved back to the Humboldt area. He enjoyed horses and drove his teams, even well into his 80’s. Even after he moved to Bethany Village, he continued to keep busy feeding the wildlife and cutting and selling wood to the campers at Lucien Lake
