As you'd expect, the Flin Flon Bombers played tough as they were in town to face the Humboldt Broncos. The crowd was treated to a great SJHL matchup as the Broncos skated away with a 3-2 shootout win.

The Bombers Brock Mueller carried the load for his team scoring bookend goals in the first and third to tie the game at two. Ethan Zielke counted the first Bronco goal in the second period, with an assist from Carsten Kayter and Cage Newans. Daylan Wiegel followed up in the opening minutes of the third, with a little help from Ben Kotylak.

The tense overtime period didn't decide it, so Cage Newans and Tim Kim took matters into their own hands, both scoring in the shoot out.

On Friday, the Broncos head to the Battlefords to take on the North Stars, and they 'll be back at the EPA on Saturday for the return game. The regular season is wrapping up, so grab your tickets and cheer them on into the playoff push. Game times are 7:30 and you can catch all the action on 107.5 BoltFM.
