The Humboldt Broncos face the Flin Flon Bombers on home ice tonight at the EPA. The Broncos have shored up the personnel between the pipes with a pre-deadline acquisition. 

The Broncos have signed 2003 born, free-agent goaltender Jared Picklyk from the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL.

Picklyk comes to the Broncos after splitting this year between the WHL’s Americans and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The Kelowna, BC native posted a 3.50 GAA and .880 SV% with Lethbridge before being traded to the Americans where he played two games, sporting an.894 SV%.

“We are excited to add a goalie with the experience that Jared has,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney. “He’s come highly recommended, and we believe we have solidified ourgoaltending tandem with Picklyk and Motew.”

Picklyk brings 40 games of WHL experience to the Broncos, where he compiled a 14-14-4 record. The 6’3 goaltender was drafted 148th overall by the Hurricanes in 2018.
