Today is Earth Day and to celebrate we want to see your pictures of nature!

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The first-ever Earth Day was celebrated in 1970.

Some ways you can help support Earth Day:

  • Walk or bike to work
  • Pick up trash around your neighbourhood
  • Recycle as much as you can
  • Ensure batteries and oil and other hazardous waste products are disposed of properly
  • Use reusable shopping bags and straws
  • Change your lightbulbs to LEDs to save energy

There are many ways to help support our Earth!

If you have kids and you are looking for a fun way to celebrate Earth Day, why not make a bird feeder with an old pop bottle or paper towel roll? The birds would love it and you would be using recycled products!

Being in nature is a wonderful way to practice mindfulness and destress from the day. Take a moment today to celebrate Earth Day.
