PARTNERS Family Services in Humboldt still has a couple weeks left of their annual school supply drive but they have made some great progress.

Earlier this month they received a donation of 30 backpacks, now the Humboldt Co-op is providing some help.

The Co-op donated $250 to help purchase school supplies.

Co-op General Manager Blair Molsberry says this program is something they feel the need to support.

"We think it's a worthwhile cause to support and we wanted to be a part of helping the community."

Even though they will take donations up until the 28th of August, PARTNERS Executive Director Hayley Kennedy is over joyed with the community's enthusiasm.

"We have been so fortunate to have individuals drop in with supplies for kids, and be contacted by businesses in the community who want to help. The contribution from Co-Op will go a long way to filling the backpacks supplied by Spotlight Sport and Corporate Wear Ltd and others in the community."

Supplies can be dropped off at their office at 905 5th Avenue between 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.
