The province's weekly COVID report is showing that most metrics are down from the previous week.

Included in that is the test positivity rate, which was recorded at 6.5% last week and is now being reported at 5.5%.

The number of tests has also dropped, down to 6,402 from 6,908 the previous week.

376 cases were confirmed, with a rate of 0.3 laboratory-confirmed cases per 1,000 population.

That number is lower than last week's, which was reported as being 465.

There were 12 new COVID-19 deaths this week, down from 22 the week before.

Also, there were 16.5 COVID-like illness patients per 1,000 emergency department visits which was lower than the average weekly rate in the previous six weeks.
