Throughout 2023, the Humboldt and District Cultural Services Department has been hard at work hosting 20 programs and events as part of a pilot project called Relationship Building and Reconciliation Through Living Heritage. The project was made possible with the help of their partners Heritage Saskatchewan, the Office of the Treaty Commissioner, and Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Saskatchewan.

“Whether you have participated in these events or not, please take a few moments to complete our follow-up survey to this year-long project and help us work towards Reconciliation initiatives here in Humboldt,” stated Cultural Services in a release.

The survey will close on March 24, 2024. Cultural Services says that the data will be used to understand the community response to the project and overall views on reconciliation and living heritage.
