The Humboldt SPCA has been a beacon of hope for countless furry companions seeking care and shelter. With the winter season approaching, the shelter's wish list reads like a heartfelt plea for support: kitty litter to keep their feline friends comfortable, kitten and puppy food to nourish the youngest residents, dog sweaters to keep tails wagging in the cold, and essential supplies like a folding table, paper towels, dish soap, and cleaning products.

Among their needs are specialized items like slower feeders for dogs, surgical recovery dog suits, and blow-up cones. As the staff strives to provide a safe haven for animals in transition, these items represent not just material needs but also the means to create a nurturing environment.

The call for donations echoes a desire to continue the shelter's mission, relying on the generosity of the community to ensure every animal receives the care and comfort they deserve during the holiday season and beyond.

You can also sign up to foster animals and give them a caring home until adopted.
