The East Central 18U AAA Red Sox had a successful road trip to Saskatoon on Tuesday night.

The Red Sox unloaded a big five run inning in the third on their way to a 6-4 win against the Saskatoon Cubs. The Cubs answered with three runs of their own in the bottom of the third, but it wasn't enough to put the Sox in check.

Bronson Paetsch got things swinging in the third with a single driving in Jack Biemans. Dylan Smith followed up with a single bringing in Paetsch. A Joel Bauml double brought in two more, and Cooper Isherwood’s fly single to centre closed out the scoring for the inning.

Marek Yeager started on the mound, and Carter Dosch and Joel Bauml closed out the affair. Dylan Smith and Cam Marshak drove multiple hits on the way to the win.

This Sunday, the AAA Sox head down south to take on the White Butte Broncos.
