The City of Humboldt is hosting a family fun day at Humboldt’s historic Water Tower Saturday, July 23.

The Water Tower, located on 407 3rd Avenue, will be filled with activities for families to partake in. Director of Cultural Services, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, explains what families can expect.

“You can picnic there, bring something to eat, and then enjoy some fun games we are having. They are all water based, so things like go-fish, a bubble station and just a bunch of fun for the afternoon.”

The Humboldt and District Fire Department will also be on hand for the kids, doing demos for families, explained Fitzpatrick.

The annual event shows off the historic Water Tower, with families able to take tours of the building. Tours cost $5 for adults and $3 for youth under 18.

“We will have prizes to give away, and just a lot of fun. We invite everyone to come on down and enjoy this wonderful tourist attraction in our community.”
