Futuristic Industries teamed up with the Humboldt and District Museum to celebrate the organization's 50th anniversary with an art display.

On April 26, the Museum unveiled a new exhibit called “The Future is Golden'' which consists of artwork done by those at Futuristic Industries.

“This was a fantastic collaboration from the Museum and ourselves at Futuristic. We did three separate art sessions. The guys were fantastic with all the art projects, and we would like to thank Prairie Glass for helping us out, the Museum put on an art class for silk screens, and we also had a fantastic day with the Broncos doing a paint project on hockey pucks that were donated by Universal Sports,” said Stephanie Keller, community coordinator at Futuristic.

The display is on now at the Museum for everyone to view.

“Art is a reflection of society and culture; it helps us understand what we are as human beings and influences how we relate to one another. Art is an expression of our inner thoughts, feelings, and experiences and we hope that with that, and with our art, we can share our inner thoughts, feelings, hopes, and dreams,” said Ray Whitton, Executive Director of Futuristic Industries. “We wish all the pieces on display here will resonate and connect with the viewer and give them a greater understanding of not just who we are as individuals, but just how much each of us have in common.”

The exhibit will be on display until July 6, 2023.
