Golfers are asked to play one last tournament of the year for one great cause.

The 7th Annual Hunter's Golf Tournament for Cystic Fibrosis will be held on Saturday at Greenwater Provincial Park.

Lana Woulfe organizes the tournament and is also Hunter's Mom.

She talks about how far these funds will go.

"The funds for the tournament all go to the North Sask CF Chapter, and they disperse those funds to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. So you're looking at research and all the stuff that goes into fundraising for CF."

Registration is $100, which includes 18 holes of golf, a power cart, supper and prizes.

Woulfe describes some of the prizes.

"There's lots of great prizes also involved in the tournament. We have some really good hole in one prizes again this year. You can win a car from Mainline Motors, an ATV from Discovery Motorsports, and $25,000 cash from Porcupine Credit Union."

Woulfe explains the history of the tournament.

"This is our 7th year. We just kind of started it up one year, had some people interested in it, so we threw it together and it turned out to be a success so we carried it on."

Registration can be done by calling Lana at (306) 278-7930 or by emailing lanawoulfe@sasktel.net
