Greenwater Provincial Park will be hosting the 6th Annual Hunter's Golf Tournament for Cystic Fibrosis this Saturday.

Proceeds are donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada in support of Hunter Woulfe who was diagnosed with CF at just nine and half months old.

Organizer of the tournament and Hunter's mother, Lana Woulfe, said life is different for Hunter as he deals with CF.

"Hunter has been in very good health, he takes a lot of medications to keep him that way and he does a lot of hard work with physio and he's gotta take a lot of time out of his day to stay healthy but if that's what it takes then that's what we keep him doing."

Woulfe said holding this tournament is a way to give back, "the amount of research that has come out of the CF world has been miraculous. It is so close, I'm not gonna say to finding a cure but some very good drugs that can maintain the life expectancy of all people with CF so it's so close that we wanna keep doing this so that one day we can raise money for something else that we don't need to raise money for CF anymore, which is our goal."

The tournament will go rain or shine and begins at one pm on Saturday.

Woulfe said there will be many prizes available at the tournament, "we've got some great sponsors, we have some hole in one prizes, we have a brand new 2015 Buick sponsored by Mainline Motors and $25,000 cash sponsored by Porcupine Credit Union, all it takes is the hit of a ball and it could be yours."
