Humboldt Collegiate Institute wants to show its artistic side in a night of performances and art.

Erika Rybinski, music, band, choir, and drama teacher at HCI, explained what the night entails.

“HCI is hosting a variety night, which will feature the talents of students from our arts department. We’re going to have some singing, dancing, and drama skits.”

Guests visiting the variety night can enjoy some performances from students while also seeing the creativity of students in other fields.

“The photography and visual arts classes are also setting up displays in the commons area at HCI. Guests who come to watch the performance can check out the hard work of the students here at HCI.”

The variety night is set for Wednesday, May 25, at 7:00 pm in the HCI commons. Admission is by donation, with the proceeds going to the HCI arts program.

Following the events, refreshments will be available.

“It’ll be great to put on a live performance. We haven’t had a variety night in HCI since the spring of 2019, so that’s three years ago already. It’ll be exciting.”
