The Humboldt Fire Department was called out to a shop fire Wednesday morning just past 8 o'clock.

Four trucks and about 12 members of the HFD responded to the fire that occurred in a shop on a rural property about 10 kilometres south of Muenster on St. Gertrude Road.

According to Chief Mike Kwasnica there was no smoke visible when they arrived but once a door was opened to the building heavy smoke had filled the inside.

The cause is reported to be an all terrain vehicle that caught fire but it had burned itself out due to lack of oxygen.

Nobody was hurt in the blaze.
