The Humboldt and District Museum is celebrating its 40th Anniversary Thursday, July 14.

To celebrate, the Museum is holding a fundraising barbecue and concert from 11:30 pm - 1:00 pm.

Bring your lawn chairs, grab a burger, and some anniversary cake during lunch. While there, enjoy a concert by the local band “The Horse’s Mouth” outside the Museum at 602 Main Street.

Anyone who shares a birthday with the Museum will get a free lunch stated the Museum in a release. Anyone born on July 1, 1982, can show their ID and receive a free lunch.

Proceeds and donations from the barbeque and concert will go towards the Museum to help them continue to serve the community for years to come.
