With the Humboldt Broncos itching to get back on the ice after pre-season is over, Saturday, September 17 is their chance.
The Humboldt Broncos Home Opener takes place Saturday at 7:30 pm at the Elgar Petersen Arena, with opening ceremonies starting at 7:00 pm.
The Broncos are taking on the Notre Dame Hounds for their first time in the regular season.
The game will have a guaranteed 50/50 of $5000.
It's set to be a big event, as before the game takes place, there will be a tailgate party.
There is going to be lots of food, with a $10 special that includes dry ribs, caesar salad, and a pop.
With the food comes entertainment in the form of live music, performed by JJ Voss. Voss is not the only form of entertainment, as there will be street hockey and a colouring contest.
The Humboldt Broncos home opener is set to be a blast for all ages to enjoy with some great hockey.
