Get ready for a fun evening downtown with the family as the Humboldt Downtown BID is its annual Streetfest.  

“This year, we have changed it up again. If you do the same thing every time, you get the exact same results, so we changed it up just a little bit, so we went with an evening market,” said Brent Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of the Humboldt Downtown BID. 

The evening market will take place Wednesday, August 16, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Sixth Avenue beside the Museum. 

“All of the stuff we’ve done in the previous years is going to be there; we’re going to have the concert stage setup, with two groups coming in. Brian Grest and Walter Bushman are playing.  As well, we have The Horse's Mouth [who] are going to be entertaining. They start at 5:30 and end at 7:00”

Bouncy castles will be set up for all the children, chalk art for everybody to take part in, and lots of vendors out with some great deals.

There will also be a BBQ taking place at the same time from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with proceeds going towards the HCI Humboldt Travel Club. 

“It’s going to be a fun evening to just get out and enjoy a summer evening in downtown Humboldt.”
