Humboldt RCMP are seeking the public’s help in tracking down those responsible for pointing a firearm at a vehicle on Highway 5 east of the city. 

Humboldt RCMP report a call came in at 8:20 pm on April 21 indicating that three individuals were in a vehicle travelling on 9th Street in Humboldt. An SUV pulled in front of it, stopped and the occupants got out and approached the victims’ vehicle.

When the victims drove away, the SUV began to follow them as they travelled on Highway #5 towards Muenster. They turned around and passed the SUV, which had stopped. A male occupant of the SUV pointed a firearm at them. The victims continued driving to a safe location and informed police of the incident. No injuries were reported to police.

RCMP continue their investigation and are asking members of the public to report any information about this incident.

The vehicle is described as a black, full-size SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC Yukon.

One suspect is described as a tall Caucasian male with a slim build, wearing all black. The second is described as a tall Caucasian male with a beard, with a slim build, wearing all black.
