Tuesday, December 15 is the day to drop off toys, toiletries, winter gear, blankets, quilts, or any other Christmas cheer-up items to the Humboldt Community Gathering Place. The Humboldt Soup Kitchen’s Kari Censiosi and her staff will be on hand to take in donations and get them wrapped and ready for delivery to make someone’s Christmas happy.

“We would really like to bring some cheer to the families who can’t afford to buy anything for Christamas,” says Censiosi. “Some of these families don’t have a tree much less a gift to put under it.”

Humboldt and surrounding communities have been generous thus far, but additional items are always welcome. On Tuesday, December 15 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, residents can drop off donations at the Gathering Place for those in need to experience a brighter Christmas.
