The Humboldt Theatre Club had a busy weekend, bringing to Humboldt a show with twists and turns not unlike those of director M. Night Shyamalan, that audience members are not soon to forget.

The Bride of Brackenloch, written by Rick Abbot, was performed by the Humboldt Theatre Club at the Community Gathering Place Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7.

The shows were met with great success, with all the seats filled in two back-to-back sold-out shows with an additional show on Saturday.

The ghastly gothic thriller had audience members falling out of their seats with laughter at the misfortune of a newly-wed bride and groom dealing with the ups and downs of a family curse.

The Humboldt Theatre Club has just wrapped up its latest show but is already planning for its next performance.
