Put your winter driving protocols back on.

Highways in east central Saskatchewan are icy this morning following yesterday's mixed rain and snowfall. Saskatchewan's Highway Hotline reports winter driving conditions on Highways 5 and 20, and on a swath eastward into Manitoba.

Roads conditions are icy and will likely remain so as another wave of precipitation moves up with a Colorado low. More heavy snow is expected today tapering off into flurries tomorrow. The system should start to clear on Friday.

Take extra time and extra caution in your travels today, and allow plenty of room for braking. Check the Highway Hotline for your specific destination.
