Members of the Gallery are getting ready for the first-ever Members’ Night, set for Thursday, February 2.

From 7:00 - 8:30 pm, members will have an opportunity to connect with other artists and talk about their artwork.

“We just want to have a space and a time where people who consider themselves artists, or creative types, or makers have a chance to come together and chat about their process, inspiration if they are having a block on something they are working on. Just come in and have a conversation and be supported by fellow makers and creative people,” says Jennifer Fitzpatrick, director of Cultural Services.

The event is for Gallery members only, says Fitzpatrick. “If you’d like to become a Gallery member, the membership is $20 for the entire year. This provides a great time to talk about art, talk about craft, and really help us think about what other programming you’d like to see at the Gallery.”

Members will also receive advanced warnings about upcoming events happening at the Gallery, and the chance to enter the Gallery Members Show that happens in the fall.

Registration is not required for the Members' Night and is free for Gallery members.

Fitzpatrick says this is a great chance to meet other local artists.

“This is a community space for them, and we are just excited to welcome people into the Gallery.”

To become a Gallery member, drop by the Gallery in person at 601 Main Street or call them at 306-682-5226 to register over the phone.
