Jean Hoeflicher

Jean Shirley Hoeflicher was born June 9, 1961, to Edward and Shirley Hoeflicher in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. She was baptised on June 25, 1961, and confirmed on May 18, 1975. Growing up she developed a strong personality, and it was one of kindness. She was hard working, joyful and goal oriented. Jean was smart and ambitious. She wanted to become a nurse and help others. In Grade 11, she worked at Bethany Pioneer Village, Middle Lake, to develop and practice her nursing skills. She loved it. She had found her passion. Jean finished high school and went on to achieve her nursing certification in Regina. She valued and took pride in her family and friends; planning and celebrating special occasions. Jean always gave the nicest Hallmark cards and gifted generously. Her favorite color was purple which was evident in her wardrobe. Jean became outstanding both as a person and in her profession. People frequently recognized her in public, greeting her with bouquets of heartfelt thanks for the special care she gave. Jean is survived by: her mother, Shirley Hoeflicher; sister Grace (Gary) Long; sister Norine Lesperance; brother Roland (Jodie) Hoeflicher and children Reid, Joelle (fiancé Tristan), Josie; brother Mark (Elaine) Hoeflicher and children Mason, Rayanne, Daylan. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gustav and Lydia Hoeflicher; Jacob and Gertrude Long; her father, Edward Hoeflicher; and brother-in-law, Joe Lesperance. A celebration gathering was held at Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service followed at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Lake, SK, at 2:30 p.m., celebrated by Pastor Jakob Valsson.
