Snow, at times heavy, has developed over southwestern Saskatchewan and will continue through Monday night, with 10 to 15 cm of snow expected by Tuesday morning.

Take caution travelling as visibility will be reduced at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

The snow will gradually taper off Tuesday morning.

With the snowfall warning a blowing snow advisory has also been issued.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.

Be sure to check the highway hotline before hitting the roads.

Stay safe!
