The 18U AA Muenster Red Sox were on the receiving end of a strong offensive showing by the Saskatoon A's in last night's game in Marysburg as they fell 19-5.
The A's took advantage of some defensive cracks in the early going starting with a pair
of runs driven in by Dawson Gerwing. Muenster replied with a pair in the second inning when Owen Edwards sacrifice fly drove in Luke Eagles, and Lynden Loessl crossed the plate on a wild pitch.
After that, the A's took command scoring at will in the sixth inning to wrap the game up. The Sox showed flashes of inspiration on offense with aggressive base stealing, but the A's prowess at the plate proved to much this night.
The AA Red Sox next action comes up this weekend with a home stand double header against the North Battleford Beavers in Muenster.
