SynergyAG is a full service ag industry provider with retail locations across Saskatchewan, and it's about to expand to a new location in St. Brieux. The facilities will be under construction this fall at its site just north of St. Brieux on Highway 368.

“SynergyAG is committed to bringing a unique customer experience to the market-place delivering a tailored approach to innovations in crop production” said Brad Hanmer, President and CEO. “We believe this investment enhances our strategy to provide a value-added option for independent crop input retail and our customized vision for how agricultural inputs and services are offered in local markets where we serve our farming partners.”

The location in the northeast has great potential, according to the company.

“It is exciting to bring back a locally owned independent crop input retailer to St. Brieux/Melfort and surrounding areas,” said Collin Martin, Location Manager and co-owner of SynergyAG in St. Brieux. “I am looking forward to offering customers the SynergyAG culture that focuses on a personalized approach that is designed for each individual operation.”

The company release notes that SynergyAG focuses on the promotion, stewardship and retailing of seed genetics, crop protection, crop nutrition and agronomy services with their agricultural retail operations across Saskatchewan and in Provost, AB. The new outlet will provide anhydrous ammonia to area producers.

“It is an honor for SynergyAG to become a part of St. Brieux and the surrounding communities,” said Dave Fuller, COO of SynergyAG. “We are thrilled to be able to provide a locally owned independent agriculture retail business back to the St. Brieux/Melfort area. Locally owned businesses are not only the back-bone of the rural economy, but having locally owned independent retails is vital for the entire value chain in our industry. This announcement furthers our commitment to not only the area but increases the presence of independent crop retail and local ownership in Western Canada.”
