With Easter just around the corner, the Easter Bunny wanted to have some pre-holiday fun.

An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Humboldt Uniplex Saturday, April 16, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Recreation and Community Events Coordinator, Andrea Tonn, is excited about the event, with the hope it brings some sort of normalcy back to Humboldt.

"I think the community and our society is looking forward to getting back on track, and feeling a little bit of normality, and I'm hoping the city can help in providing some of these these things."

The Easter Egg Hunt will be age specific at the following times:

  • Ages 2 - 5 : 3:00 - 3:15
  • Ages 6 - 8 : 3:15 - 3:30
  • Ages 8 - 10 : 3:30 - 3:45
  • Ages 10 and up : 3:45 - 4:00

There are plenty of other activities to take part in, explained Tonn.

"We've got [bouncy castles] all kinds of arts and crafts, literacy events, sporting activities and obstacle courses. All kinds of fun activities for the little guys."

Those interested in participating can call 306-682-2597 to provide the Uniplex with the number of children set to take part to ensure everyone receives a treat bag.
