On June 6, Racquel Hilbert won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Humboldt-Watrous in the 2024 provincial election. She defeated two other candidates.

“Thank you everyone for your support here tonight, and I hope I can count on your vote this fall,” Hilbert said. “I am ready, to listen and engage with members across the Humboldt- Watrous Constituency. I pledge to advocate and speak on behalf in the legislature.”

Hilbert is a founder of Wolverine Drilling Inc, a company based in Humboldt which works provincially and inter provincially to provide water solutions for municipalities, agricultural, domestic and industrial applications.

Previously, Hilbert worked as a special education teacher for over 20 years.

Hilbert received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 and went on to earn a postgraduate degree in Psychology and Special Education. In 2023, she completed the Civil Engineering Water Resources Tech Program for Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

She volunteers her time on the board of the Sask Groundwater Association, Canadian Water Resources Association, and is committed to provide guiding principles to unique water needs.

Born and raised in Humboldt, Hilbert lives with her husband and 4 children.

The Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 49 candidates for the next provincial election.
