Producers are pushing to get what they can in the bin prior to the rain that’s expected in many areas of the Province this weekend.

Drew Lerner is the Senior Agri-meteorologist with World Weather Inc he explained what can be expected throughout the next few days.

"From the latter part of this coming weekend into the middle part of next week may not be very good but conditions should improve greatly thereafter as we get inside a cooler air mass that will be prevailing for quite a while and that should help us to see some better drying conditions across the region."

Showers are expected to start Friday and last at least until Tuesday said Lerner.

"Some of the computer forecast modeled data suggesting that rather aggressive storm system that will impact parts of Saskatchewan during the period from Sunday into Monday with some precipitation already beginning late on Saturday."

He adds we can expect to see an increase in temperatures around  the middle of next week as well.
