Pitcher Marek Yeager was firmly in command as the East Central 18U AAA Dodgers scored an impressive win over the Saskatoon Giants in last night's Premier League action. Yeager pitched the complete game, allowing no runs and only three hits in the 2-0 victory.

The Red Sox faced strong pitching as well with Boston Bast of the Giants striking out nine Sox batters. But strong defense, including a couple challenging fly balls hauled in by centre fielder Jack Biemans, shut down the Giants efforts. Cam Marshak went two for two at the plate.

The first of the two Red Sox runs came in the bottom of the third when a Dylan Smith flyout scored Jack Biemans. The second run came in the next inning when Adam Korte touched home on a wild pitch.

Next up for the Red Sox are the Saskatoon Diamondbacks tonight at Cairns Field in Saskatoon.
