Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan is bringing back its annual Home for Dinner Signature event for another year and could not be more excited.

“Our Home for Dinner event is a fundraising event to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan, and it comes with a couple of options for people. They can join us in person in Saskatoon, or we have got caterers located all throughout the province so people can pick a caterer up at their own choice as close to their own home community. They pick [their meal] up on the event night, and they get to eat it in their own home with their loved ones,” explained Ashlyn Yablonski, Development Manager with Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan.

Families in Humboldt can take part in the event as well, as the Bella Vista Inn is one of the caterers for the event, offering a Mini cheese ball with crackers, garden salad with dressing, chicken florentine, garlic mashed potatoes, hot vegetables, and cheesecake.

While enjoying a meal with family, entertainment will be offered to enhance the experience, says Yablonski.

“They get a link to one of our virtual programs that comes with musical entertainment, and one of our alumni families tells their story.”

The event takes place on Friday, October 20, but tickets are available for purchase by clicking here.

All funds from this event go towards Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan to support their efforts.

“We support families that have to travel away from their home communities, their support networks, their jobs to take care of a sick child, so we support families that are travelling 40 kilometers or farther out to receive that medical treatment for their child.”
