The Marysburg Royals split their Sunday afternoon double header with the Saskatoon Outlaws. The game played in Marysburg saw the Outlaws take command of game one with runs by Erik Trakalo and James Reaser in the second. The Outlaws chalked up another pair scored in the third. 

The Royals faced  some early struggles at the plate.Brody Frerichs brought in the sole Royals run for a 7-1 Outlaws win.

The Royals turned the tables early on in game 2 as Tom Hooker stole his way around the bases for the Marysburg crew to generate offense and take the early lead. Nick Anderson and Dean Jaeb combined on the mound for the Royals. 

The Royals fell behind 4-2 late in the going but managed to pull even with the Outlaws at 4 apiece by the final frame. It was Dustin Emberley who put an end to the 7th inning drama with a walk off homer with a couple abroad to notch a 7-4 victory for the Royals. 

The Royals are back at it tomorrow night in Saskatoon against the Hoppers.
