Safe Communities Humboldt and Area are preparing for a back-to-back Safe-Tea event coming to Bruno and Muenster.

Amanda Hauber, Executive Director of Safe Communities Humboldt and Area, explains the Safe-Tea events as “Casual in-person sessions facilitated by a presenter from the Saskatchewan Safety Council. They will be delivering education on topics of slips, trips, and fall prevention, as well as fraud prevention.”

The events take place Monday, March 13, in Bruno from 9:00 - 11:30 am at Prairie View and from 1:30 - 4:00 pm in Muenster at Wolverine Heights.

The events are free to attend and are geared towards anyone aged 55+ says Hauber.

“The Slips, Trips, and falls session is open to anyone who is interested in assisting a friend or a family member. Maintain their independence by learning about reducing the risk of injuries to Slips, Trips, and Falls.”

This free event is sponsored by the Good Neighbour Store, Community Initiatives Fund, Nutrien, and Parachute.
