The next regular meeting of Muenster Village Council will entertain input from the public on the proposed sale/exchange of land at the north end of the community. Village Council posted its intent to sell or transfer a narrow corridor of land, amounting to 4620 square metres to the north of residences on the 100 and 200 blocks of Taphorn Street.

The purpose of the transfer is to facilitate the development of residential lots on a parcel of land adjacent to Highway 5, explains CAO Jan Sylvestre. The land transfer would allow energy infrastructure by SaskEnergy to cross to the new development and allow natural gas hookups for any new homes.
