Getting the latest information is always key as farmers finalize this years cropping plans.

Farmers planning on taking in the Sask Crops Annual General Meetings next week can attend in person or by ZOOM.

This year's event will run January 9th through 12th in person at Prairieland Park.

You can register for one or more meetings as a voting member based on each organization's regulations.

Producers can still register for the zoom event by clicking on the link here.

Spokesperson Tracey Broughton is also the Executive Director of Sask Canola.

She says a key feature for producers is always the market outlook presentation.

"We recognize farmers are always looking for marketing information, especially this time of year. So, Monday at 1pm we have Chuck Penner talking about wheat and pulse markets. Then Tuesday morning kicks off at 9am with Chuck speaking about flax, canola, and barley markets. On Monday afternoon at 230 pm we will have Gord Kurbis from the Canada Grains Council talking about PMRA and more specifically, what farmers have been experiencing related to Matador and Silence being pulled from the shelves. We'll also have a special guest Cory Leeson, who's a farmer from Radisson. It will be a Q & A session moderated by myself. Tuesday afternoon, we have Dave mezlan speaking about Building a Culture of Engagement across Canada. He really talks about the importance of grassroots democracy and getting involved in political activity."
