Humboldt's end of summer part, Streetfest is ready to roll.
The two-day celebration in downtown Humboldt begins Friday afternoon, concluding Saturday evening.
"Starting at Noon on Friday, we have some fabulous vendors coming in - both food and product vendors that will be opening up and set-up for the weekend," said Coordinator Erin Standish. "At 5:00, the stage will open. We will run through that night with some performances and a cabaret with One Bad Son."
Friday's entertainment opener is the Mix Culture Band - also known as Sega Band. Taking over from 6:30 to 9:30pm will be Humboldt's 40 oz. Philosophy.
One Bad Son will hit the stage at 10:00pm.
Standish says that activity on Main Street will start-up earlier on Saturday.
"We will open again at 10:00 with some vendors. Later on in the day there will be a car show from Noon until 5:00," she noted. "There will be some great kids activities sponsored by the Humboldt Co-op in Civic Park. As well, more food vendors, more concerts and more entertainment."
The afternoon will feature performances beginning right at Noon and running past 11:00pm with One Track Mind.
