It was a split Sunday for the 18U AAA Red Sox down south as they faced the White Butte Broncos in a double header.

The Sunday opener was a strong 12-3 showing for the Red Sox led by Cam Marshak at the plate going three for four, all singles at critical moments in the game.

It was an eight run seventh inning that cracked the game open for the Sox. Cade Armstong singled for a pair, and Carter Dosch's sacrifice for another opened the floodgates.

The Broncos came back in game 2 with a 10 - 7 win. Bronco Tayvn Williamson opened with a single in the bottom of the first for the leading pair of runs. The Red Sox mounted a comeback attempt in the third on four hits to take a two-run lead. But the Broncos wouldn't be denied, flipping it back on a pair of singles.

Next action is tomorrow night in an away contest against the Sask Five Marlins.
