British Columbia's pitching staff shut the door on the scorching hot Saskatchewan offence in a 10-0 win in the last game of round robin play for these two provinces at the Summer Games. The win crowns British Columbia at the top of their pool, punching their ticket to the quarter final game against Team Alberta.
Will Anderson of Delta, BC and Matthew MacDonald of Kamloops, BC combined for the four hit shoutout against Saskatchewan each collecting three punchouts while only walking one batter.
Cory Wouters of Saskatoon had a solid day at the plate for Team Sask collecting two hits in three at bats. Callum Hollinger from Carnduff had a perfect 2-for-2 night at the dish as well, as Saskatchewan failed to break through the strong pitching performance by BC.
